About This Listing

Like visiting a tailor, selecting the cloth and cut, the suit crafted to you – Breedlove is offering the CUSTOM MASTERCLASS BUILD-TO-ORDER PROGRAM. You can build your own guitar by selecting the acoustic body style, tonewoods and aesthetics – designing a Masterclass which is distinctly you. The palate of woods are yours to choose – each will be Sound Optimized and Hand Voiced to give you superior sound, balanced tone, and an instrument you will cherish for a lifetime. Handcrafted by our finest Master Craftsmen, your Breedlove Masterclass will be a one-of-a-kind guitar – Your Breedlove! All instruments will include ebony veneer, fretboard and bridge with a 1 3/4” nut width, bone nut and saddle, 6 strings, standard frets and an Ameritage Deluxe Hardshell Case.

We have taken it upon ourselves to have a few of these amazing guitars built. This stunning custom Concert acoustic guitar features a wide variety of custom options. The hand-tuned guitar body is constructed with East Indian rosewood back and sides and a Port Orford cedar top with a soft cutaway to access the upper register. The top is finished with a custom semi-gloss sunburst. There’s bloodwood binding found on the fretboard and body, and on the heel cap. The “hooks” inlay is mother of pearl and gold pearl.

Concerto Body Shape: A new body shape with a bigger, louder, more lush sounding guitar with complex, textured tone.

Adirondack spruce has been the choice of bluegrass pickers for decades, and seems to add power to any guitar design. If it’s loud you want, Adirondack is for you. Adirondack is even more dynamic than Sitka spruce, and has a higher ceiling for volume. You can strum an Adirondack-topped guitar aggressively without distortion or loss of clarity. For the aggressive player who wants volume and clarity without distortion; the player or collector who wants the vibe of a pre-war guitar. Like Sitka, it has strong fundamentals and responds well to either a light or firm touch, but has higher resonance and exhibits a more complex overtone content. Adirondack is relatively heavy, with a high velocity of sound, and has the highest stiffness of all top woods across and along the grain. New-growth Adirondack tends to be wider-grained and more irregular in color and grain patterns, than vintage pre-war Adirondack. Creamy white in color.
