The key to unlocking iZotope Stutter Edit's capabilities is the use of Gestures: a set of effects and their associated timelines that reside on a single MIDI note. The audible result of a Gesture can vary from simple to complex--a Gesture could simply repeat a small chunk of audio at an 1/8 note rhythmic rate, or it could trigger a run of raging glitches that get decimated by a bit crusher before being filtered into a wash of echoes. Izotope Trash 2

The Trash plug-in from Izotope is a multi-faceted distortion processor. It contains various modules that range from distortion, through dynamics to delays.

The plug-in features 64-bit processing which results in tight precision and extreme dynamics. Processing history is available as is undo.

A preset manager allows for sorting patches by name or last used and adding comments to presets. One can also take part of one preset and assign it to another preset and update a preset with a single click.

Trash has multiple meter views and options that allow one to customize functionality, CPU usage and more.

The plug-in supports chaining pairs of distortion modules together for sonic destruction at 64-bit precision. The signal can be split into multiple bands and distortion applied independently to individual frequencies. Overdrive:

The Sequencer

The Generator

Sculpt new drum sounds and textures with the Generator. This powerful drum synthesis module defines the sounds for each Sequencer track. The Generator supports morphing wavetable synthesis, one-shot sample loading, and hand-crafted noise tables, then is polished off with dual-stage distortions and vintage-modeled filters. Four LFOs with unique wavetable shapes, and four Envelopes allow vast modulation possibilities for almost every single Generator parameter. As a bonus, every Sequencer track supports up to three Generators for developing even deeper sonic complexity.

The MicroEdit Engine
