Up for grabs is a superb, month-old, left-handed Echopark Clarence Rose. If you know anything about luthier Gabriel Currie's builds, then you're probably familiar with his rock 'n' roll pedigree. He skillfully handcrafts vibrant and lush rock machines that are played the world over, by everyone from Josh Homme to Joe Perry; Joe Bonamassa to Johnny Depp.
This guitar is no exception. It is very resonant and feels great when you hit big chords as the contours hug your body. The neck on this thing feels amazing. It's old stock flamed maple with a slightly beefy C-shape. If you like late 50's-early 60's-style Fender necks, you should feel right at home. Great neck carves are one of Gabriel's many specialties. It has such an old feel to it in the best way possible. It's very comfortable. With the right set-up, it'd be great for playing slide; great for blues, country, and almost all of the above. It has a sweet Arcane '49 Broadcaster pickup in the bridge. It has a nice bite to it, but it's not overly shrill. In the neck is an Arcane Silver Coil, based on the gold foil pickups that started with the old Tiescos. It has a nice thickness to it, but it's not wooly. The great thing about these pickups is when they join together. It's just creamy and the guitar becomes hard to put down. I believe it to be the guitar's standout quality. Lastly, this guitar looks like a million bucks. The photos just don't do it justice. It's all black, topped front and back with a white 1760's Victorian rose pattern that Gabe silkscreens on himself.
This guitar is hot off the presses. It even has that awesome, fresh, new nitro smell to it. Its date on the certificate of authenticity is June 30, 2018 and was received July 6. It's been played less than 3 hours in a smoke-free home. So why am I selling it?? I have a loved one who could use the cash; and guitars, even in all their infinite glory, don't compare to those near and dear. The wait time on this guitar was over 2 years, so this is your chance to pick up an ultra-rare left-handed Echopark without the wait. Please message me with any questions. It's a wonderful guitar and thank you so much for looking!
