1980 Greco Jaguar JG700 'Super Real' - super rare!

1980 Greco JG700 'Super Real' Jaguar. Very rare model, low production numbers, seldom come up for sale. Only selling because I have another one that matches my Greco JM700 Jazzmaster and I don't need two. Featured as the cover picture on the Greco Vintage Guitars FB page next to my matching Greco strat, also for sale.
This is a totally original example, no modifications at all. Original switches are almost 40 years old, work good. Tuners are tight and it stays in tune.
Apparently these were only produced for about 6 months and then Fender bought out Greco to produce their MIJ Fender guitars. Greco was already making what are considered the best Fender copies and that was a major factor in Fender's decision to buy them out and eliminate that competition. No other Japanese guitar maker has this historical tie to Fender.
Greco was the only Japanese company to make true copies of Jaguars and Jazzmaster guitars, and they were only in production for less than a year. These are very collectible vintage MIJ guitars for about the price of a new Fender that are great guitars but IMO really have no potential collector value.
No fake relicing here, this is a 39 year old guitar that has been used and it shows. People pay top dollar to buy a new guitar with fake 'relicing', this guitar is a real relic.
Like all Grecos this was originally sold only in Japan- they did not export these guitars ever, they were strictly sold in the Japanese market, so production numbers are relatively low compared to other MIJ guitars such as Ibanez, which were and still are sold worldwide.
