The Original Aguilar AGRO Rack Mount - Bass Overdrive/Distortion Unit
- *Included: foot switch, rack ears & AC adapter
- *Only one owner, was bought "new" when they were in production. It's pretty rare to find the original Agros for sale, and are definitely worth it for the player who wants the most tonal control of their sound.
Details:
(The Agro Rack is Aguilar's original bass OD/Distortion, which has the full suite of tone controls)
The AGRO is based on the dirty channel of Aguilar's renown AG 500 bass head, delivering killer drive & distortion. Everything from warm tube-sounding overdrive, thick hairy fuzz, to full on distortion. The AGRO will push your amp into grind without killing your low end, or can be ran clean as a preamp.
Front Controls:
- Input: ¼" input jack
- Saturation Knob: Controls Gain
- Contour Knob: broad range mid scoop @ 1kHz
- Treble Knob: 4kHz shelving
- Mid Knob: 600Hz peaking
- Bass Knob: 40Hz shelving
- **Deep Switch: When your beef needs beef!! Makes your tone even Fatter
- Presence Knob: Tailor your Highs & add more Shimmer
- Engage Switch: Used to engage or bypass the Agro
- Master Knob: Controls the Agro's Volume, allowing you to adjust the amount of saturation hitting the front end of your amp.
Rear Panel:
- Power Switch
- Input: Second ¼" input jack
- Outputs: Two ¼" outputs, Output 1 (left) is Line Level & Output 2 (right) is select-able Line or Instrument Level. Both outputs are buffered and can be used at the same time.
- Footswitch Input: Turns the AGRO On/Off bypassing the Engage button on the front panel.
- DC In Jack:
