The Seymour Duncan TB-PG1 is identical to the SHPG-1b bridge pickup, but with Trembucker spacing for guitars with greater than 2.00" string spacing (E to E) at the bridge.
The Seymour Duncan TB-PG1 Pearly Gates Trembucker Bridge pickup is a warm, slightly-hotter-than-vintage humbucker. Great for blues, classic rock, southern rock, jam, and hard rock. The Pearly Gates is sweet, but slightly rude, with great sustain and a bright top end that makes harmonics jump out of the guitar. Comes with four-conductor hookup cable.
Available for the bridge position only. Can be used in the bridge with an APH-1n Alnico II Pro in the neck for smoother tones. For brighter toned instruments. Works especially well with maple and ebony fingerboards. Also works great with hollow and semi-hollow body guitars.
Used by Dickey Betts (neck & bridge), Warren Haynes / Gov't Mule (neck & bridge), Howard Leese / Heart (neck & bridge), Greg Martin / Kentucky Headhunters (neck & bridge).
