This Guild D-50 was made in the USA in 1966. This guitar has a spruce top and stunning Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. It shows light play wear and the top has ambered considerably, but overall this guitar is in very nice condition for its age. The action on this guitar is typical for 1960's Guilds, which is to say that it is slightly high and the saddle is all the way down. The low saddle does not affect the tone of this guitar at all - it sounds loud and full-bodied, and while the action is a little high, it is totally playable. That said, if you are seeking a guitar with very low action, this guitar is not for you. This guitar has been pro set up in our shop and needs nothing. It comes with the original case.
