The Guitar Center will give him a good "trade in" allowance,on this guitar,but at this time he wants cash.

1979 Ibanez ST 1200 WH. Double neck guitar six and twelve string ( 6&12 ).
First off the condition is phenomenal. I am pointing out the only only chips in the finish,there is not even buckle rash on the back. The front ( fingerboard ) and back of neck are like new,as it the head stock front and back. NO WEAR WHATSOEVER.
Guitar has been completely gone through. All pots and toggles cleaned and everything works fine,there was a lot of dust apparently,now all tone controls and pickups selectors are perfect,no noise and you flip a toggle and go from one neck to the other and can preset via toggle tone and volume on each neck,or have both necks on simultaneously and set each to preset tone and volume.
The guitar serial is C790008 Meaning made in March of 1979.
The difficult thing to find was the fact that the guitar is white in colour. The WH after the model number signifies white.
Only the white models had the gold hardware .
( which this does and there is a bit of wear on the top bridge and saddle and a little on the lower bridge and saddle ) The headstock you will notice is also gold lettering. ( All others are silver,only on white body does it have gold hardware )
Ibanez really took all their ideas from the Gibson Les Paul. Pickups,bridge,saddle etc. The headstock after the Gibson lawsuit just turned into a Guild headstock.
I realize I am selling this and obviously want to make the best impression. With that said,I guarantee you the sound of both the 12 and 6 string necks is incredible. Action is to die for as well.
The downside and this is probably why it has hardly any wear on finish is because it is heavy. The original owner must have played this in the studio sitting down.
It also has a $400. Gibson double neck case which fits exactly ( Hence how much Ibanez ripped off Gibson in the body style lawsuit )
This weighs a lot in the case and shipping has always been ma bete noir !
Ideally,I would just like to drop it off at Fed Ex and have them crate it and ship it.

I am enclosing a couple of posts referring to this model guitar,albeit from what I can glean,must be neck thru body model. Notice the date is 2007,that is 7 years ago.
