Official NPG Prince Schecter Cloud 2000 Metallic White

Made in 2000 by Schecter for Paisley Park. This is a rare bird. I've researched a ton on this particular model and have only found one other Cloud guitar with the symbol fret markers on the fret board with dots on the side. This is THE LOWEST SERIAL NUMBER I have been able to find as well. Confirmed by Schecter as coming through their plant for setup and quality control in March of 2000. This is in pretty good shape, but unlike many other Clouds you see out there, this one has been played a bit by the looks of it. There is a bit of paint rubbed off from play on the corners of the fret board, most noticeably from the 1st to the 7th frets on the bass side and pretty much all the way up the treble side. Very little fret wear to be seen. A bit of paint fade on the top of the head stock point near the back. Cracks in the finish near a few of the frets on the side of the fret board.  Overall in good shape and you don't notice the imperfections unless you're really looking for them.

The most glaring sign of use is the yellowing of the clear coat, turning the metallic white into a sort of golden hued white on parts of the guitar. I'm assuming this is due to many factors including but not limited to age, type of finish (most likely poly) and that it was probably played a decent amount and perhaps not held in a case it's whole life. I've tried to accurately depict this yellowing as best I can in two different light settings with a few different camera angles in each.

I've played it a bit to test electronics and everything works as it should. The actions is light and the neck is slick. Pickups and knobs work as they should and the guitar sounded great through my Fender Blues Junior. The guitar itself is light in weight and easy to play. The bridge was not machined to exact tolerances and is a bit loose on the posts. The posts themselves do not move inside the body and once strings are tensioned it is hardly noticeable. I've had it looked at by a top-notch luthier who had no concerns about it or anything else on the guitar.

Is it worth $10k? I have no idea. Values vary greatly on these guitars. I've seen them a few years newer sell for close to that, which is what I'm basing my asking price off of. It is the lowest serial number I have seen and I think you'd be hard pressed to find one of these with a lower serial number. There is no case included as of yet but if I find something that fits with minimal amount of modification I will include it free of charge.
