Fender's 62 Reissue Stratocaster made at the Fullerton Factory in 1984 and in the rarest of all colors for this model, Fiesta Red!
Only 5% of all 57/62 AVRI guitars from this period of time were made in a custom color, being Olympic White, Black, Lake Placid Blue and the rarest of them all Fiesta Red!
This guitar is extremely clean with no scratches, dings or dents. There is a normal amount of checking on the body of the guitar, due to the nitro finish and age, and this is common on the majority of these rare guitars. There is little to no fret wear anywhere on the 'board.
Guitar plays beautifully and sounds even better. It is 100% completely original and comes with the tweed OHSC (as far as I know....) , trem bar.
I have not been able to find another Fiesta Red '62 RI from the Fullerton Factory, especially in the condition that this guitar is in.
Please see photos for the checking and a couple of hardly visible black streaks which I have no idea what they are or how they got there.
Buy this one of a kind Stratocaster and just watch the value rise as a collectors piece and own one of the best playing/sounding stratocasters I've ever had the pleasure of owning. There is no trem cover on the back of the body which is also very common with these strats.
Feel free to ask any questions and I will answer to the best of my ability.
