About This Listing

2009 Kelday OOO Mah/Cedar in mint condition.  Recently had the action adjusted by a local luthier and the neck plays perfectly.

Love this guitar, but it is time to let it go.  Need the money for family obligations...  Let me know if you have any questions.

Amazing fingerstyle guitar from one of the best custom guitar builders today, Bill Kelday. Small volume builder in Scotland.  Only makes around a dozen instruments each year.  He charges around $5750 as a starting price before adding premium woods and extra options.

This OOO is made from pretty special tonewoods. The mahogany back/sides was sourced from a pub being demolished in the UK. The cedar came from an old footbridge in the NW USA.  Brazilian rosewood bridge. I would say the sound is perfect for DADGAD. Tony McManus played this model on several of his albums.  Unique rope purfling on the guitar made by Bill.  Guitar has been kept in a humidity controlled environment since purchase.  Lightly played, never gigged.

Guitar will be shipped fully insured Fed Ex 2 day.
