LS-50 with the RARE Old Sunburst (OS) top color
Tokai LS-50 examples typically are finished with the Cherry Sunburst (CS) and Black (BB) top color but to find an example with the Old Sunburst (OS) top color is not very common, it is actually quite rare.
This example has a stellar Maple top that includes lots of figure, mineral streaking, and plain grain, which looks fantastic with the Old Sunburst top color.
The Mahogany body back is so well matched it could pass for a 1 piece, even at closer inspection.
The Mahogany neck has a chunky profile thanks to some extra shoulder. The neck back is super clean.
The wire retainer ABR-1 type bridge has brass saddles.
This LS-50 has a few minor cosmetic issues as most nearly four decade vintage guitars have. The last photo demonstrates the worst of these cosmetic issues.
