Alamo Eldorado Guitar is in really good condition (per photo's) normal wear and tear for this age. Mid
1960's? Bridge ashtray cover intact. Pickups are probably not original,
I have not opened her up. Pickup switch just replaced, old one
included, tune and go! Sorry, no case... OR Alamo Montclair 2565 Reverb w/tremolo channel all original amp with original foot-switch. Hand
wired in San Antonio, Texas in the 1960's, Unless I am mistaken, this
is one of the models disputed by Fender. All Original GE tubes and yes,
original mallory. My amp guy (authorized Fender/Gibson dealer down in
Austin) went completely through it when I first got it, everything
great. I had to go pick it up to get him back to work (he had one as a
kid), He recommended leaving everything alone. We left original two prong
cord in place. It really sounds good, prime example of the period,
breaks up nicely, according to the neighbors. I think condition is very
good for age, minor snag in original grill cloth, has a little rust on
the feet, but don't we all at this age?
Iincludes either guitar or amp in photo's, what 'ya see is what 'ya get! Why buy a Mexican Fender and a chinese robot amp? True Americana is still available! Buy one or other now for $700.00 (O.B.O) and secure that authentic boutique sound your looking for!
Unfortunately,
will have to come with an "Oklahoma guarantee" as is where is. I am not
a luthier or professional guitar person, equipment is in average
condition in my opinion. I will take to UPS pack and ship for $50.00. Everything is fine and working, however, We have all seen
shipping abuse these days, I will not get into that mess. Proper
packing and handling is up to U.P.S., and also their responsibility.
