Hagstrom Concord II Deluxe 1968 Candy Apple Red

Gorgeous and nearly immaculate 1968 Hagstrom in 95% original condition, including hard shell case.
This was hidden away under a bed for 30+ years and the finish shows that. The cherry is as vivid as when it left the factory. The finish on the body is unblemished and on the neck there is a very small scratch/divot (see photo).
This is the deluxe version so the f-holes are bound and all the hardware is gold-plated. The pick guard and one of the tone knobs was replaced by me using parts from another deluxe that was recently parted out. Everything else is original to this bass.
As you can see from the close up, there are holes for a second bridge position; that is where the bridge was placed when I got it. We moved it back to it's original position, which is correct position for intonation. Maybe it got moved when someone was fiddling around with a mute. I have no idea.

Otherwise this is a gorgeous instrument that deserves to be played more than how much I do. It has amazing tone and is fun to play. I'm just always scared I'm going to smash it because I am a clumsy dork. Ha.
