This Danelectro Teardrop also known as a Coral Beta was assembled in 1969 or 70 and is very rare. This coral body is made in Japan by the same company that made the Coral Longhorn and Firefly. This guitar is in very good to excellent condition. There is a crack running from the F hole to the rim, but appears to be only a urethane crack, and a few dings and scuffs here and there so please check photos. The body, neck, tuning machines and bridge are NOS parts and were assembled years ago. The guitar was sold originally as an acoustic model only. The tailpiece, pickguard, LT pickups, wiring harness including pots, knobs, switch and input jack are new and added recently in our shop.
These Coral teardrop bodies were also used on the Vox "Bill Wyman" signature bass.
Includes a new padded gigbag.
