THE WHO Sound City / Hiwatt L100 Prototype
The following amplifier was one of a small number of Prototype amplifiers that were specifically produced by Dave Reeves (Hiwatt) for The Who. THE WHO Modifications Although the amplifier was one of the small number of Prototype amplifiers produced for The Who it also carries unique later Who Modifications that can be seen in various photographic verification from 1968/1969, these modifications included removal of amplifier/name branding to face plate as well as the installation of the later style 'Vox' Controls
