Excellent binaural signal generator from the early 1990's. Distributed by Inner Technologies, who in the early 1990's offered over 60 mind-expanding-high products, including electrical brain wave stimulators, a rejuvenation chair, a chakra synchronizer ... and these little synthesizers:
"Audio Imagery" Model 151A binaural signal generator. This has RCA ins and outs, as well as a white noise generator (called "surf" here). This one was made by AWI Electronics of West Tacoma, WA.
I've used it occasionally since acquiring it and it works well. Very nice analog sound! Fantastic artifacts of early 1990's new-age culture! They were written up in Yoga Journal in 1992. The 151A sold for $425 new. (See photo of a review from 1992).
Perfect for experimental projects, meditation, far out new age explorations of the astral plane, alpha wave therapy, drone session, circuit bending, hardware hacking, or what ever else you like. Treat them like signal generators or as your tickets to higher consciousness!
Nice warm sounds, and it is in very good condition, and certainly are more fun than the "binaural beats" apps that are being offered around online.
