• Firmware OS v2.0 is the latest and final operating system issued by Akai for the S3200XL sampler.
• Included will be 1 legitimately new ROM chip to complete the upgrade.
• Not compatible with the standard non-XL S3200.

Note - The S3200XL itself not for sale. Only the ROM upgrade chip will be supplied.

Unlike some others, No used or refurbished as “new” or “mint” components will be supplied here.

• The OS v2.0 upgrade primarily focuses on resolving issues caused by Akai’s previously poor non-compliant implementation of the SCSI protocol in its system code. This is especially important for users out there that wish to use their S3000 with MESA II as well as Recycle 2.0.

Please note: If you happen to have the “SCSI Waiting” message when you turn on your S3000, it means the SCSI fuse is blown.  I have re-settable fuses (fuses that never blow) for sale in another listing. Unsure / confused? Send me a message.
