E-MU SP-12 Turbo OS 2.6 EPROM Firmware Upgrade KIT
- OS v2.6 Turbo upgrade is the last and final upgrade issued by E-Mu Systems.
- As illustrated in the picture above, included are 2 EPROM chips to perform the operating system Turbo upgrade.
- Each EPROM is labeled accordingly, with identification of which IC socket the EPROM is to be installed to.
A printed copy of the documentation E-Mu systems originally supplied to authorize service centers will be provided to you. It outlines bug fixes and other issues fixed since OS 2.5
A bit of additional info:
The EPROM chips that you are replacing will be located beneath the power supply (for those that are not quite sure).
Please verify if your SP-12 has a B1 or B2 rom installed before purchasing, as installing a B2 rom in a B1 rom board revision will cause your play button orientation to be reversed.
Please take note of the orientation notch on the top of the EPROM to ensure correct installation.
Rest assured that all EPROM upgrades I send are packaged in anti static reusable packaging and inserted into a bubble mailer.
I send all international packages via airmail parcel in order to ensure that your upgrades arrive safely and in a reasonable time frame. If you want your EPROMS to be sent via international letter mail and have it arrive over a month later, then please look elsewhere, thanks.
