So, this is a 43+/- year old Guild F 112 12 string. It's a sweet sounding little thing. I'm typically not a big fan of 12 strings and find them difficult to handle and maneuver around on. This is a smaller bodied guitar (I heard once based upon the F 30 body style but can't swear that is true). It's really easy and comfortable to play.
Here's a couple things that need disclosure. It plays really well right now with Low E string height a little less than 2/16". The bridge has been shaved I believe and there isn't a lot of saddle height remaining should you want it lower the string action. However, I repeat, it plays really well right now. This was all disclosed to me by the original owner when I bought it from him and I am passing it along to you as well.
Also, you'll note I do not have the "make an offer" option enabled on this listing. It's priced fairly and this is my low as I go price on this one. If it doesn't sell at this price, I'll just keep it and use it on a few recording projects I have in mind.
It does have the wear you'd expect on an old vintage guitar with scratches on the back, pick scratches on the sound board around the pickguard etc. But, there are no break, cracks or issues of that nature. In addition the frets are in good shape. There are no ruts or grooves and exhibit only the typical wear you'd expect on an older guitar. Lots of life left IMHO
Okay then, here are a few technical specs for those of you who may be interested:
-Solid Spruce top -Mahogany back and sides -Rosewood bridge and fingerboard (with side markers) -Chrome tuning machines -Mahogany neck -1 13/16" nut width -4 7/8" depth -15 3/8" body width at the lower bout -25 5/8" scale -OHSC that shows wear but protects the guitar well. Handle and all latches work as they should
I ship USPS Priority Mail Insured for $50 to anywhere in the lower 48 U.S. States. It will be listed on other sites and I will cancel this listing if it sells that way first.
