People should realize these were made by the Fender Custom Shop Team, and they carry a lot of pride in how well built they are, their reputation was at stake making these Guilds and I think they knocked it out of the Park!! These are the same Guys that make $3,000 to $10,000 Custom Shop Fender Strats and Teles, Etc...! This Truly is a Great Guitar!! All they needed was to withstand the Test of Time, Here we are 16yrs Later and Wow! My opinion is, in the long run as with anything Unique and/rare in the guitar world it always seems to become quite collectible, I mean really an Acoustic Guild made by the Fender Electric Guitar Custom Shop division, like I said once the test of time makes this a true Vintage guitar and with their unique story, they for sure should become quite the Collectible Guild as she ages 25, 30, 50 years old. They all do!

- Fresh Set-up, Polished Frets, New Compensated Bone Saddle. This is a 16 year old Corona CA, Guild that to me has gotten just too much rumors and bad talk about them, well here it is 16 years later and when I compare this to Westerly Guilds I have had over the years, surprisingly this particular example is just about the best of the bunch, when it comes to, neck angle, straightness, and fret install quality, what I look at on every guitar 1st, this one is far ahead of all the other Westerly ones I have had. This one has Great neck angle, Beautiful Fretwork that is tight and accurate, with fretboard inlay is top notch as well and some sweet MOP to boot. It also has plenty of saddle, for a lifetime of playing. A lot of Guild's had some type of finish issue over the westerly years it seemed because of the natural finishes being always used, rarely you'd find one with no Finish checking or even the finish just falling off falling off for that matter, this one has plenty of checking mainly on the top, but it isn't coming off and it looks better than other Guild's I have had as well, way better, this one has even less checking on the sides and minimal checking on the back. Some Westerly's had terrible problems with the Headstock Overlay too, this Corona one looks Fabulous, isn't going anywhere. I think Myth Busted! I feel the Guy's in Corona felt they had to make a Good product to keep their Reputations in check and they did a Fabulous job. The Guitar has a few dings, chips and scratches, mostly on the top and nothing huge or many at all really, Just a great USA Guild that actually reminds me of what a Nice well kept Westerly era Guild would be. Comes with None original Hard Case and a Fishman Prefix ProBlend that has a Mic as well as Pick-up installed. Guild Made The Best Stage Guitars, Great Looks and sound!
