Upgrade your Roland D-70 with the latest official operating system (OS version 1.19) for improved stability, enhanced MIDI performance, and essential bug fixes.

• Two brand new, clearly labeled EPROM chips programmed with Roland D-70 OS 1.19.

Please note: Only the EPROM chips are for sale. The D-70 synth itself is not included.

New Additions and Bug Fixes in OS 1.19:

• Fixed: Pop noise when reverb mode set to delay and delay time at maximum.
• Fixed: MIDI timeout and stability issues now resolved.
• Fixed: "TIME OUT ERROR" no longer occurs during handshake dump (“ALL” dump) with librarian tools.
• Fixed: Performance edit display now shows the correct CARD performance.
• Fixed: Inserting a parameter card in the PCM card slot will no longer cause LCD garbled text.
• Added: Option to enable/disable key event messages on the control channel (hold the 4 button while powering on to toggle).

How to Check Your Firmware Version:
The D-70 typically displays its firmware version on the LCD at startup. If unsure, contact me for version-checking support.

Installation Guidance:

• No soldering required.
• Open the D-70, locate the labeled EPROM sockets, and insert each chip with the orientation notch as shown in the instructions.
• Always follow ESD safety precautions.
