This is a Rusch custom Jerry Garcia "wolf" guitar that I commissioned and had delivered early this year. I am selling off one of my Jerry Garcia rigs, which includes this guitar and a complete amplification system (see my other listing). This guitar is in mint condition and plays wonderfully - the neck and fret work are fantastic! The pickups are a pair of Sheptone Blue Sky's in the neck and Bridge, and a "vintage" mid 80's Super II in the middle. It has a full compliment of Jerry electronics including: stratoblaster, OBEL, coil splits, and a buffer.
The instrument is a maple, purple heart, maple sandwich with a 7 piece neck. Brass nut, brass eagle inlay… the rest of the hardware is nickel finish.
Very well done piece… please note that there is a tiny bit of black paint bleed in a couple areas - as the transition from black to natural finish.
Very Well balanced instrument - weighs about 9 lbs.
