The video down there is of this exact guitar for sale here! Many of you may be thinking that this is just another typical Japanese import guitar… but check out this little history lesson. The Teisco company was located in Tokyo but the woodworking factory was located outside of Matsumoto. Every once in a while there is a guitar that "looks" like a Teisco and has the same body, but is slightly different in a few ways. That's because the owner of the woodworking factory sometimes exported guitars to the USA without the blessing of Teisco in Tokyo. These models were very rare but here is one of them, and in excellent condition! The body and neck are classic Teisco MJ style, but the electronics and headstock are very different. In fact, these gold foil pickups are really great sounding. Super strong and they handle high gain effects very well! We set-up this guitar and gave it the once over a few years back, and it's been hanging on the wall ever since then with only the occasional play. So please expect to get it set up to you playing styles and tastes. But with that being said, everything works and the guitar is in nice condition!
