I bought this Yamaha APX7 guitar around 1990. It has an excellent pickup system built in. There are a couple small dings on the front, but nothing too noticeable.
The only minor issue a seam split on the rear of the guitar. This split has been professionally repaired, but the crack in the hard shell coating is noticeable. Again, this is on the rear of the guitar. I've taken a photo of it.
Other than that the guitar plays great and sounds great both acoustic and plugged in. Rounded cutaway, black finish, spruce top with oval soundhole, agathis back and sides with synthetic outside coating, 24 fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, composite bridge, white-bound body, fretboard and headstock, b-w-b-w top purfling, black peghead overlay with block "YAMAHA" logo, gold tuners, factory Yamaha pickup system with volume, bass, treble and blend controls, 15-1/8" lower bout, 25.5" scale, 1-11/16" nut width, 3" to 3-3/8" body depth, made in Taiwan.
