PRS Paul Reed Smith Swamp Ash Special Artist Stock Birds Custom Built 22 fret w/Piezo OHSC

You are looking at an Artist Stock 20th Anniversary Swamp Ash Special with birds. The guitar is in great condition with only mild buckle-rash and pick swirl. This guitar has the “AS” stamp on the back of the neck and body. It has been played but still looks and sounds amazing!

This guitar was made as an Artist Stock for the guy who started iVideosongs. It is featured in several lessons available online. Also, the owner told me that this guitar has been played by Alex Lifeson (Rush) and Jon Foreman (Switchfoot), although they did not use this one for their lessons. You can search iVideosongs on YT to see several lessons done with this guitar.

This guitar has the graphtech ghost piezo acoustic saddles and acoustiphonic pre-amp installed. So, what you have here is basically a Strat (coil tap out), Les Paul (no coil tap), and acoustic (graphtech piezo) all in one. It is truly a Swiss Army Knife!

So the guitar itself is 100% original (except as described with the piezo). It has 2 McCarty Humbuckers, and a Seymour Duncan Vintage Rails. Even with the addition of the piezo, all controls and the body itself are just like they would be with a normal SAS.

With the piezo, it was installed so that it is activated via a push-pull volume knob. The original volume knob was replaced with the push-pull. When activated, it is set to a constant volume acoustic. I didn’t want to add any toggles or anything in the body and did Installation this way because of that. Note that the piezo system is active and requires a 9V battery. (See pics.)

If the piezo is not your thing, it is reversible. I will include the original saddles, volume knob, and output jack.

To summarize: PP volume in - it is a normal SAS. PP out - it is a full acoustic.

This is truly a one of a kind PRS. There’s not another one anywhere like it.
