Beautifully aged Flint Hills with a full bodied open sound. Abalone inlay around top and sound hole. Snow flake inlays on ebony fingerboard. Ebony bridge, Indian rosewood back and sides. Gold Grover tuners.
The bridge has been reset. The heel block cover plate (often made of walnut) is missing so we are uncertain if neck has been reset but we believe it may be because of good action and saddle has has the height to be adjusted in the future. Top crack repair.
Original case is worn quite a bit but still functional.
Here is some info from a former owner of Mossman. The Flint Hills Custom model changed over to Winter Wheat models in 1976. Also there may have been only 100 Flint Hills Custom models produced making it a rare model for Mossman
