My dear friend Jason Kostal, world renown luthier, has decided to sell part of his amazing guitar collection and has invested his trust in me to handle it.
As he explains in the video himself "It is time to let someone who will play them enjoy these world class instruments".
The instruments were kept in a humidity and temperature controlled room and are pretty much in new condition. They were used as a "sound library", barely played yet perfectly maintained in top condition. Please contact me for international shipping as price and regulations may vary greatly.
I recently visited Scott's shop and got a 1st hand experience of how much passion and skills goes into every single instrument he builds. This is an exceptional Santa Cruz model with Brazilian Rosewood board and headstock veneer on a stunning flamed mahogany neck. Finish in "Fathom" patina, one of Scott's signature, they rarely ever come up on the second hand market and this exceptional piece is like new, it was the 30th guitar built in the year 2015. Scott goes surfing every morning, drawing his inspiration from the ocean and everything that surrounds him.
"The Santa Cruz is one of Scott’s most versatile model. Like the waves at the famous California surf spot, the Santa Cruz is a thing of elegance, power and beauty. The comfortable balanced body encourages the player to forget the instrument is even there, channeling warm organic tone directly to the amp from the heart. The Santa Cruz has a slightly longer body than the Walker Special. It features an exotic top and mahogany back and neck. 25″ scale length,1 11/16th” nut and 12″ radius fingerboard. 24 frets and two humbucker size pickups."
