Gibson J-45/50 1976 Serial number: 00-189929
The good: neck reset, fret dress, bone nut and saddle, bridge plate repair, bridge raised(to compensate for a shaved bridge), a wing of the headstock has been glued(it is not a pretty repair but it is solid) and a repaired truss rod. The bad: repaired cracks in top and side, the binding is deteriorating and it has digs and crazing consistent with a 42 year old guitar. The guitar sounds wonderful, it plays great all works as it should but it is a player’s guitar not a collectors guitar. Please see pictures. It comes with a good hard shell case.
