Very cool vintage Norma 12-string in fantastic condition for a near 50 year old guitar. Only missing the original tremolo arm, and has some pitting/loss of chrome to the bridge cover (amazing that it even still has the bridge cover as most people just toss these away)
These were made by Teisco Gen-Gakki for both Norma Guitars in the United States, and for Liberty Guitars - a house brand for a shop in Nagoya Japan. This is apparently a Norma made for the US market that was never shipped, and has sat here in Japan - or perhaps been brought back to Japan.
Either way, this guitar is in outstanding condition. Looks fantastic. Neck is straight, action is good, plays very well.
All the electronics have been cleaned and tested - we have also replaced the volume and tone pots and the tone caps (there was some scratchiness that just couldn't be cleaned out of the pots - see picture - we still have the original pots and caps if you absolutely have to have them) since this listing first ran. Everything works great! Pickups sound good and clear and have lots of chime to them. 4.63k from the bridge, and 4.61k from the neck.
Overall this is a great guitar for either a collector or a player who needs a dedicated Fender XII-ish style guitar. Ready to go.
