The Black Mass is a fat and rebellious teenager, the son of a Rams Head Big Muff that ordered a Russian Big Muff mail-order bride. More specifically, it is a blend between the V2 “white cap” Rams Head and the V7 Black Russian. Built to provide thunderous low end with enough midrange presence and singing sustain to stand out in the mix. The clipping diodes in the second clipping stage are selectable between asymmetrical germanium, symmetrical silicon and a silicon/led hybrid, allowing several tonal options.
Features:
-Gain Matched Silicon Transistors
-NOS Soviet Military Germanium and Silicon Clipping Diodes
-Mid Cut/Boost Control to Adjust Midrange Presence
-NOS Soviet Military Capacitors
-Military Specified Silver Plated Wire
-Shielded Input and Output cable
-True-Bypass
-Etched Enclosure
-Handmade, One at a Time
