Up for sale is a Xaoc Devices Zadar quadruple envelope generator, together with its Nin expander. I’m the original owner, and both modules have only been used in a smoke-free home studio. They have never been gigged or taken out of the house. Both are in excellent condition, minor rack rash, and work perfectly.

Note on packaging: Zadar comes in its original box. I no longer have Nin’s original box, so Nin is discounted and only sold with Zadar as part of this bundle. Both modules will be carefully packed for shipping.

Why they’re sold together: Nin is what makes Zadar easy to play by hand. Without it, Zadar has no manual trigger buttons. With it, each of the four channels gets a dedicated button, so you can fire envelopes without patching a trigger. That makes auditioning shapes and fine-tuning settings much quicker. Nin also adds a second assignable CV input for each channel, so each channel can take two independent modulation sources. For example, one CV can select the shape while another sets the level.

About Zadar:

• Four independent envelope channels with a library of 270 vector shapes, ranging from snappy percussive transients to slow evolving curves
• Warp, Response, Level and Sustain controls to bend and reshape any shape
• Envelope times from under 1ms up to 30 minutes
• Channels can loop as LFOs or be chained into multi-stage sequences
• Assignable CV inputs on every channel

Specs: Zadar is 10HP, Nin is 3HP, 13HP total.

Included: Zadar (in its original box), Nin, the expander cable and the power cable.
