Set of 4 Alnico/"horseshoe magnet" ROLA 8 Ohm speakers, made in the U.S.
These are great drivers, identical to the MARSHALL "BIG M" M2412 cabinet speakers in their ALNICO version (some have ceramic magnets) but NOT CELESTION OR ROLA-CELESTION even though CELESTION did end up owning ROLA.
Confused yet? It gets better- Pretty well done CELESTION logos were silkscreened onto each speaker in light green paint- I removed but the image remains as do some notations. Someone put a lot of work into these.
They are denoted "25 Watt" but the BIG M M2412 4 X 12 cab is rated at 150 Watts so 37.5 Watts is not a reach.
The BIG M cabs were made in the U.S. by UNICORD and I am thinking that that these were an attempt by someone at the factory possibly an employee make them look more "English".

These look almost new/N.O.S. but have had their leads soldered so they must have been in a cabinet at some point.
Great sounding ANICO drivers are in like new condition but with an oddball heritage.
My BIG M cab with the same drivers sounds wonderful.
