Polyend Play+ Sample-Based MIDI Groovebox 2024 - Present - Black

The Polyend Play+ is the absolute best bang for your buck sketch pad. From the readability of the screen and it's hot keys, to the minimal learning curve and ease of use, this device is ready for anybody tonto and play at any moment.

As a sequencer, it's unmatched for its price and shee amount of features making it the highest value sequencer and groovebox on the market. Some of the features are as follows:

Complex Rhythm Superpowers

• Infinite Polyrhythms: Mix individual track lengths from 1 to 64 steps to generate infinitely evolving patterns that never repeat the same way twice.
• Multi-Speed Layering: Assign independent time divisions per track to effortlessly blend standard beats with complex triplets, tuplets, and slow-moving modulations.
• Instant Human Groove: Micro-time individual steps completely off the grid or dial in per-track swing for loose, organic, or heavily swung textures.
• 35 Radical Play Modes: Break the 4/4 grid by directing tracks to play forward, backward, ping-pong, or via unpredictable algorithmic skip patterns.
• Glitchy Micro-Rhythms: Blast open single steps with ratcheting step repeaters and variable velocity curves for precise trap rolls and intricate IDM glitches.
• Generative AI Fills: Instantly spark inspiration using algorithmic "Smart Fills" that auto-populate tracks with intricate, genre-specific rhythmic layouts.
• Living Randomization: Keep your patterns breathing by triggering steps under math-based conditions, or let the machine randomly swap samples and modulate parameters on the fly.
• Euclidean Sequencing: Take advantage of mathematical algorithms to automatically spread a specific number of notes or hits as evenly as possible across a set number of steps. [1, 2] generating immediate, functional sequencing, that can just as easily be shifted and adjusted.
• Probability and Logic Function: Prevent patterns from going stale by assigning probability and logic functions on a per track and/or per step basis. Set the probability for a track or note to hit or not hit. If you feel you want the fourth bar closed hi-hat to hit every 14th beat on the 1st and 3rd loops only.
• Parameter Locking: Create variety in track layers by adjusting the parameters within each trigger.

It's great as a brain too. This device offers nearly everything you want with Polyend take on an arranger mode through pattern chaining, variations, a performance mode, and more making this sequencer maintain more standing power than the Oxi on functionality and variability alone. Couple that with the phenomenal price tags and I can see why this is an all time classic device.
