This great tricone has a steel body, formed back, rubbed nickel (aka "Steel") finish, unbound Ebony fingerboard on a Mahogany neck, and slotted headstock with "NATIONAL" stamped on it. Great tone, a bit deeper and harder than brass, giant sound, and the no-maintenance rubbed nickel "Steel" finish. Love this guitar.
