DW Design Series 14x8 Smoke Acrylic Snare Drum with a distinctive transparent smoky shell and chrome hardware.
This is a deep, powerful snare with a striking appearance. The drum sounds great, and all hardware and functional components operate as expected.
The acrylic shell has two cracks near the lugs, approximately 1.5–2 inches each. Both are shown in the photographs. The drum currently sounds and functions great, but the cracks are reflected in the price. Sold as-is.
The shell and hardware present very well overall apart from those two cracks. The cracks are structural defects and could worsen with continued use or tension changes.
An opportunity for someone comfortable with acrylic shell repair or a drummer looking for an affordable, distinctive DW snare.
Local pickup in downtown San Diego is preferred because of the cracks. If you need it shipped, it will be double-boxed with plenty of padding, and shipping is charged separately.
