DBX 163x Over Easy Compressor/Limiter
Great Value
Our users rate Reverb
For sale is a dbx 163x compressor / limiter.
The unit is tested, works well and sounds good.
It's a fun little unit. One simple control appropriately labeled "more". Move the slider to the right and you'll definitely get more compression, with a little automatic makeup gain as well. There really is something to be said about audio processors with few controls. They aren't the tool for every job, but nothing else really does what the 163x does.
The 163x is a "half rack" device. Rack mount kits are available online if that's your thing.
Please see the photos for a complete perspective on the physical condition. The front panel looks great. All other surfaces show some signs of handling.
