MIDI Fighter Twister Black (black body, black knobs)

I bought this unit new in 2023 as a controller for classroom demonstrations with a soft synth on my laptop. Last year, I retired from teaching, and I haven't used it since.

It never gigged; I used it only in my smoke-free home studio and in smoke-free college classrooms. It will ship in the original packaging, along with the original USB-B cable.

16-knob MIDI encoder controller for DJs, producers, and visual artists

16 high-resolution endless encoders with integrated push switches on every knob

4 banks = 64 fully customizable MIDI CC controls

Full RGB LED feedback that syncs with your software

Chroma Cap encoders

The Midi Fighter Twister is a 16-knob MIDI controller built around high-resolution endless encoders with integrated push switches and full RGB LED feedback. Four banks give you 64 total controls in a 6×6-inch footprint. USB bus-powered, class-compliant, works out of the box with Ableton Live, Traktor Pro, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Resolume, and any software that accepts MIDI.

Complete Control: Four banks of 16 high-resolution endless encoders with a configurable push switch on every knob. This dedicated knob MIDI controller gives you serious control in a small space.

Dynamic LED Feedback: Multi colored LED rings provide clear feedback on every knob's position. Always know what's happening in your software without looking at the screen.

Easy to Integrate: Compact and completely USB-powered, this encoder controller fits into any gear bag and integrates into every workflow. No drivers, no wall adapter.

Deep Customization: The free Midi Fighter Utility lets you customize what each knob and button does. Assign any MIDI CC, note, or channel. Configure LED colors, speed, and acceleration.

Three in One: On the Twister one knob can equal up to three controls, giving you a lot of power in a small space. Use shift layers to double your parameters without adding gear.

Automatic Mapping: On Mac computers the Twister will automatically turn any knob you select with your cursor. No more mapping hassles.

Always in Sync: Adjust a knob in Ableton, and the encoder will instantly update to reflect the change. Only endless encoders can do this.

Your Versatile Friend: Each encoder can be three different styles of knob, and is always there for you when you need it.

16 Encoders = 64 Knobs: Because encoders change position as you switch pages (unlike fixed knobs) you actually get 64 controls in one tiny space.

Built For:

Live DJs: Add hands-on FX control, loop manipulation, and remix deck triggering to any DJ setup. The Twister sits next to your mixer or laptop and gives you dedicated knobs for the parameters you actually use, instead of hunting through software menus mid-set.

Music Producers: Replace mouse-clicking with real knob control in your DAW. Map the Twister to synth parameters, EQ bands, effects sends, or mixer channels. The endless encoders stay in sync with your software, so there are no value jumps when you switch between tracks or plugins.

Sound Designers: The push-to-click encoders and shift functionality let you build complex parameter control surfaces for synthesis, sampling, and effects processing. High-resolution mode (activated by pressing any encoder) gives you fine-grained adjustment for dialing in precise values.

VJs and Visual Artists: Map encoders to clip triggers, layer opacity, effect parameters, and color controls in Resolume or any MIDI-capable visual software. The RGB LED feedback lets you monitor parameter states without looking at your screen.
