MXR Vintage Script Logo Distortion + Plus 70's

Hi -I have owned this pedal for close to 50 years and now it is time to this and other items go to allow someone to actually use it and for my to use the funds to by expense instruments.

The following is my history with the pedal. I believe I am the second owner. I bought this directly from Electro Harmonix. They had an office in Manhattan and held a sale on a Saturday. At the time I thought it was stage the EH was selling a MXR pedal. Now I have come to realize the bought it for analysis. This was my main dirty pedal for a few years until raising a family became my priority.

I only used it a few times in the last 40 years and today was the first time I placed a battery in it in a very long time. It works! Interesting how the output and distortion controls interact.

The serial number is 425682. There was a peice of black foam into the pedal which has deteriorated over the last 50 years. Since I am a klutz, I choose not to go in and clean out the remnants.

The inside cover has "MXR Innovations 101-2004-1" which according to my research:

• • Shares the exact size and specifications of the original "Bud Box" enclosure.
  • Found on early script-logo MXR pedals.

NOTE: It is missing 1 screw as soon in the picture.

Please ask questions or for additional pictures as needed. The pedal is also listed for sale in the Central NJ area.
