JBL Cinema 3635 LC-SUB 18" Pro System Subwoofer

The JBL 3635 LC-SUB is a cinema-grade subwoofer designed for demanding professional installations where deep, controlled bass reinforcement is essential. Its shallow profile cabinet fits discreetly behind projection screens while delivering the low-frequency performance required in theatrical and high-end commercial environments. This unit combines JBL's professional engineering with practical installation constraints.

Design & Build Quality

Built with a compact footprint of 46 x 25.625 x 14.5 inches, the shallow cabinet design minimizes the space required behind-screen while maintaining structural integrity at 113 lb. The barrier strip screw terminals provide secure, professional-grade connections suitable for permanent installations.

Audio Performance

The 460 mm (18-inch) low frequency driver delivers a frequency range of 38–100 Hz (±3 dB) with extended response down to 28 Hz at -10 dB, ensuring tight, articulate bass without muddiness. Maximum SPL of 125 dB at 1 meter and 300W AES power handling enable this subwoofer to integrate seamlessly into theater systems and large-venue setups requiring controlled low-end reinforcement.
