Jerry Haynes Haynes Mandolin with hardcase
Handcrafted in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky in Harlan, KY, by former coal miner and talented luthier Jerry Haynes, this gorgeous F-style mandolin is a special instrument with a unique history and an outstanding voice. This is number 32, made in 2008.
🌲 A PIECE OF HISTORY IN THE WOOD
The owner, who spent his career building highways across America, came across an old telegraph stump made of Engelmann spruce while in Dayton, Ohio. He brought that historic wood back to Kentucky, where Jerry Haynes incorporated it into several mandolins, including this beauty. It’s a remarkable story that makes this instrument all the more special.
✨ BEAUTIFUL LOOKS. INCREDIBLE SOUND.
• Gorgeous, wavy curly maple back
• Attractive tea-burst finish
