I sanded down the front face of the guitar with steel wool to start then stopped the RELIC project.   Added a few dings here and there (none through paint) on front but stopped.

Professional Luthier Set-up to correct typical Epiphone factory defects makes this an easy player.

Neck and other gloss part all untouched.
