Buffet Crampon Clarinet Late 1940s Early 1950s
Vintage Buffet Crampon clarinet in good vintage cosmetic condition with wear consistent with its age. Serial #29095.
The instrument was recently looked over and by a woodwind technician. It was cleaned, some new tenon corks were installed and some new pads were installed as needed. I have personally assembled and inspected the clarinet, but I am not a professional clarinet player. I could not find any cracks in the wood. It has not been completely overhauled and I cannot guarantee that it is in perfect playing condition.
Please note that the metal reinforcing rings on the barrel have loosened and may require resecuring. They stay on but can be pulled off with a decent bit of force. Also the metal reinforcement ring on the bell is able to be spun around. The instrument may also benefit from additional adjustments or servicing by a qualified woodwind technician to meet the next owner's playing preferences.
Shows typical cosmetic wear from age and use. Please examine all photographs carefully for condition.
Includes what I believe to be the original mouthpiece with ligature and cap.
Ships fully insured and carefully packaged.
