Neve 8803 dual channel equaliser and filter, the 1U rack unit from the 88 series. The EQ circuitry is derived from the classic 8108 design and the flagship 88RS console, and the unit is hand built in Burnley, England.

Each channel has four bands of EQ:

Low band, 33 Hz to 440 Hz, switchable shelf or bell, with switchable high Q

Low mid band, 120 Hz to 2 kHz, fully parametric, with Q from 0.3 to 7

High mid band, 0.8 kHz to 9 kHz, fully parametric, with Q from 0.3 to 7

High band, 1.5 kHz to 18 kHz, switchable shelf or bell, with switchable high Q

Each channel also has a variable high pass filter and a low pass filter (3 kHz to 15 kHz), both at 12 dB per octave. There is an independent EQ bypass on each channel, a plus and minus 20 dB input trim, and signal and clip LEDs. Inputs are XLR/jack combination connectors, switchable between +4 dBu and -10 dBV, with XLR and parallel jack outputs. A USB port allows settings recall via the Neve software, which also lets you match the two channels for stereo work. Connects via USB to Neve Recall app, available online.

Equally at home for tracking, mixing and mastering.
