Up for sale here is: Dave Smith Evolver desktop synth.  It is running the final 3.0 firmware and 3.5 DSP firmware. It sounds great and works great, but see my notes below. I am considering reasonable offers.  I will include a third-party power adaptor.

Please see photos carefully. Notes:

• The encoders work well in general, but there is some "skipping" if you move them notch-by-notch, and this is fairly common on the Evolver, and other ones like the Tetra, from what I've read. I believe this is one reason there were potentiometer upgrades available. One of the button feels less "clicky" than the others, but works fine.
• there are 2 missing knob caps that have been replaced. For identical ones, you can purchase them online (I think Syntaur sells them for about $8 each).
• There are some light scuffs/scratches/dings, some are near the Dave Smith label, but it's cosmetically in great shape overall.
• You can program it from the panel, but because this synth is so sonically complex, it's easiest to find a computer editor or buy commercial soundsets and tweak them. Soundtower makes an editor for purchase.
• FYI - the Evolver manual can be found online. It has 4 sound banks loaded from the factory. A lot of these are just sequences or signal processing. Bank 2 is the only one for pure MIDI keyboard playing.

I am only shipping this within the continental US, signature required.  I'm selling this "As-is."  Please do your research online (Youtube, etc.) and make sure this is an item you really want before purchasing or making an offer.
