The 1952 Gibson J-50 is a natural-finish, slope-shoulder dreadnought acoustic guitar sharing the core build and tone of the sunburst J-45, featuring upgraded clear-grain spruce selected specifically for natural tops. This example is about as clean as you'll ever see. Sounds incredible too! The bridge has been reset, there is a repaired pickguard crack, and some of the backstrip material looks to be reglued. Bone nut and acrylic saddle. Finish shows consistent fine crazing and a few minor capo marks on the sides of the neck. Original frets have no visible wear. Action at the octave is .075" clear at the 1st string and .090" clear at the 6th. Neck width is 1.693" at the nut and 2.086" at the 12th. Neck depth is .892" at the 1st fret and .996" at the 10th.
