This is the listing from when I purchased it. It has only been played a few times since purchasing, and put back in the case. The bass is in excellent condition, and the case is in condition as well.

Up for sale, a 1997 Gibson Thunderbird IV bass in excellent condition and in perfect working order.
Sounds incredible with low end thump and grind. Featuring nine-ply mahogany and walnut neck-through body construction, black hardware, a three-point bridge, and a warm Tobacco Sunburst gloss nitro lacquer finish, the Thunderbird delivers the goods via two imposing TB Plus ceramic magnet humbuckers. The pickups deliver the kind of push and compression that brings out the growl in the mahogany and walnut construction, and a thick slab ebony fretboard adds top end detail and note attack.

The neck has a medium C shape at the nut, filling out with more roundness and depth as you travel up the ebony fretboard, the nut measures 1 1/2" in width, and the headstock retains the original Gibson-branded truss rod cover as well as the Gibson-branded and Schaller-made black tuning machines.

The electronics all function as they should. It does have some minor cosmetic play wear from over the years however is in excellent condition.
