Synergy Syn-1 Preamp + Randall KH-1 Kirk Hammett Signature Clean Module

i need to downsize my collection—which currently consists of 10 modules, three RM100s, and a Synergy Syn-1—so I am offering the Syn-1 preamp along with the Randall KH-1 module.

I truly love every one of my modules and amps, but ultimately, the Salvation Audio "LoneClean" wins out over the KH-1. Furthermore, with my modded RM100s, I can easily cover clean tones using the Fryette Deliverance or Engl Powerball modules (or even the "BE" module), while still having room for crunch or lead sounds. That’s why the KH-1 has to go, even though it’s absolutely fantastic. In my view, it’s superior to other Randall clean modules—and it’s the best of the Kirk Hammett signature series, which is why the other two are long gone, while this one has remained in regular use. It handles everything from pristine, crystal-clear cleans to gritty, overdriven tones (and beyond); the tonal structure is top-notch, and the 3-band EQ is incredibly responsive with a massive range.

As for the Synergy Syn-1, it’s time to let it go simply because my selection has become too large. I have two RM100s (each with 6 channels) and another with 3 channels. While the expansion capability via the 3- or 4-cable method is brilliant, it’s really a feature better suited for Synergy’s own 2-channel amps—or perhaps for great 1-channel amps that could benefit from an added, high-quality clean channel via the serial FX loop. The Syn-1’s features are excellent: silent recording (with or without cabinet emulation), "sag" control, a dedicated FX loop... what more could you ask for?
