Offering a vintage 1930's-Style Desktop Dynamic Microphone. This is a custom-build microphone that has been reimagined using an Atlas Speaker casing with a good-quality dynamic element installed within. (Check the voice sample in the listing video.) In general terms, this retro/Art Deco-inspired piece is similar to some early 20th century-inspired microphones, especially with its round face & ornate stand.
The upper round Brown Atlas heavy-gauge metal casing has a Golden woven-wire screen insert, and measures 9" in diameter, the base platform is 7" wide, and the total height is 15". The awesome base/platform is antiqued brass cast, stacked with a black granite platform on top.
Atlas Sound, an audio equipment company, began in Brooklyn in 1934. It became known for commercial PA loudspeakers and microphone stands, and its products now included speakers, amplifiers, paging and background-music systems.
