ENGL Invader 150 with Z12 MIDI Footswitch

Awesome sounding ENGL InVader 150. Tolex has a few cosmetic bumps and bruises, but the panels/chassis are in excellent condition.

Pro tip for you, the manual does not mention that the "Bright" switch (for channels 1 and 2) also works as a mid-boost on channels 3 and 4. It turns Channel 3 into a super mean high gain rhythm channel - don't forget to use it because it really beefs things up for those chugging palm mutes.

Amp has two effects loops, two master volumes, a built-in noise gate, the bright/mid-boost, a high gain boost - all of this can be programmed with the included footswitch very easily. Essentially, this lets you set up 10+ different sounds to swap between easily (using the 10 footswitch buttons), and it's as simple as setting it up and pressing the "write" button on the front. It also has bank up/down buttons, so you could also combine this with other gear such as multifx and program even more sounds that you can access quickly and easily. This was pretty hot stuff when it came out 20-some years ago (the InVader I mean, not MIDI itself which is even older). This footswitch runs $200 or so used these days, so get it as a package deal with the amp it belongs to here.

Also worth noting that the InVader "II" is identical to this amp except it adds support for the Z16 Wizard Sound Module. If you do not have this module or don't plan to use it, this is the same amp - even cheaper than a "II."
